State of e-Marketing (10 points)
Give a brief overview of the country including its economy. What is Internet penetration? What about other communication devices such as wireless, portable video/audio, and other similar products? What is the proportion of the online population using dial-up versus high-speed connections?
Consider the extent to which the country has an issue with the digital divide. Are there any cultural characteristics and/or government policiesthat affect the use of communication technologies? Feel free to comment on these and any other relevant issues not listed here that you think are important.
Most pressing regulatory issues(10 points)
Assess the level of concern about consumer privacy and security. Is there a problem with identity theft, fraud, or http://m.elviscollections.com/fvxzy similar issues? Has the government enacted any laws, or is there legislation currently under debate?
Comment on intellectual property. Does the country have regulations concerning copyright protection, or can consumers easily obtain copyrighted material? Comment on any other regulatory or political issues that might affect e-marketers in your country.
Assessment of e-Business Opportunities(15points)
Which industries are currently having the most success with e-business?Where is the greatest potential for growth?
